The Structural Steel Design Awards (SSDA) took place at the Museum of London on 4th October 2017. Five projects winners were announced at the awards ceremony. The winning projects were:
- The Leadenhall Building, London
- T-Pylon
- LSQ London
- HGV Egress Ramp, Selfridges, London
- Oriam, Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh
Commendations were awarded to six structures: The Curve, Slough; West Croydon Bus Station; Central Square, Leeds; STIHL Treetop Walkway, Westonbirt, the National Arboretum; The Hurlingham Club Racquet Centre and Watermark Westquay Footbridge, Southampton.
Merits were awarded to six further projects: A400M MRO Facility, RAF Brize Norton; Wellcome Collection Dynamic Stair, London; Market Place Shopping Centre Redevelopment, Bolton; Waterford Fire Station; Layered Gallery, London and Maxwell Centre, Cambridge.
